I don't remember if the T3500 has a BIOS option that disables the keyboard/mouse during boot, but if that's the case, a normal USB keyboard won't help either. I heard that if you can use your mouse in your bios that meens you have UEFI. My T3500 is capable of using your mouse while in bios, so I assume I should be selecting the UEFI method. WebJan 21, 2016 · Likely the ATA/AHCI/RAID setting in BIOS. Most likely you will need to change to ATA. Load Windows, install your chipset drivers. Now restart and go back into BIOS and change it back to AHCI. I've always found it's better to get the proper drivers up front and press F6 during install so you can inject them. If LSI-card, you are correct - must be flashed in IT mode 9211-8i, which I have done. Lots of guides for this on this forum. But this is necessary only for hypervised installations of TrueNAS.
