I can turn the fan blades manually. When the fan stops we get warm air in house, when it runs it is cold. This would cause the pump to shut off after a short time of operation. After the pump (Motor) cools down enough it will reset itself and start up again. It will keep repeating this process. Just like I hit the run/stop switch by accident (which I didn't). It would shut off long enough to startle me and then kick back in before I could get to side of road.
