WebJul 8, 2024 · #1 I have a 2008 Club Car Precedent gas golf cart with an intermittent starting issue. It starts and runs great most of the time but occasionally when you press the pedal it's like the battery is dead. You let off pedal and push again and it starts fine. It may take pressing it a third time but not often. WebWhen you push the pedal to start, there is a micro switch located in the throttle box that has to make contact and energize the solenoid. This switch is bad or the wires have come loose on it. Follow the throttle cable and you will see the box. I am going to include a web address that has club car diagrams and other units all on line to look at.
